New Book on Data Sharing and Open Science

A new book on Research Data and Open Science featuring Commons Network fellow Wouter van den Bos has recently come out: Issues in Open Research Data (Ubiquity Press). The book edited by Samual Moore of Kings College London covers issue concerning open data in a range of academic disciplines, covering practical information on licensing, ethics, alongside more theoretical issues surrounding the adoption of open data.  Wouter van den Bos contributed a chapter on Open Data in Psychology. Other chapters include a chapter by Medicines Sans Frontieres’ Director Uni Karunakara on Data Sharing in Drug Development, Rules for Data Lincensing in Open Drug Development by Williams, Willbanks and Ekin and a chapter on Open Data in the Earth and Climate Sciences by Sarah Callaghan.
