I graduated with a degree in multimedia journalism from the School of Journalism. That program taught me how to make complex stories accessible, quickly get to the heart of the matter, and how to keep readers interest by using various media types. In recent years, I’ve worked at various newsrooms, where my responsibilities included managing social media channels. What these places had in common: a commitment to social engagement.
